That'll Do Border Collie Rescue
TDBCR strives to place rescued border collies into new homes where they will be appreciated for the unique individuals that they are. We believe that not all dogs are "right" for all people, but that the right people are out there waiting for one of our dogs.
We are a small group of individuals who are commited to claiming, fostering and rehoming dogs who have been left in shelters, or surrendered by their owners.
We give every dog in our care the individual attention, training and guidance that he or she requires. Our dogs are never kenneled or warehoused, but are fostered as members of our participating volunteer families until such time as a home that meets their unique needs can be found.
We do not operate as a "for profit" enterprise. Our adoption fees pay for the care associated with our dogs, and all monies from adoption fees is returned to the rescue fund to ensure care for future dogs in need.

Belle is such a nice dog, she deserves a nice person. She would do best with a retired individual who is home with her in the day, as she barks a bit when she is lonely. She is not a rambunctious puppy, so is content with a couple of leash walks a day and a garden in which to soak up some sun. Belle can be choosy about her canine companions and would do best with a male dog, not another female. She is in great physical condition and thriving on a raw food diet. Belle is not available to a home with children.
We know Belle isn't a flashy young thing, but neither are all us humans :). She has lots of other wonderful qualities! If you can give Belle the retirement home she deserves, please click on her photo for more information.
Plain Jane Belle gets overlooked by nearly everyone because she is mostly black, and a little older than most. At 9 years old, Belle still has a lot of life to share with someone special and we just know there is someone out there for her.
