CONTACT US

That'll Do Border Collie Rescue is based out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We have foster homes around the Lower Mainland and on the Island, but you should always contact the Adoption Coordinator if you have any inquiries.

You may contact us by email

TDBCR does not have a telephone line for inquiries. If you would like us to call you back, please be sure to include your telephone number in your email inquiry. Long Distance calls will be returned collect.

Please do not email us multiple times if you do not hear back right away. Sometimes it can take a few days for us to respond to our email. Please remember this is not our full time job; this is a volunteer run organization and we do as much as we can in our spare time.

Things You Should Know Before You Contact Us

  • TDBCR does not rescue non-border collies. If you are looking for a home for your dog of a different breed, please refer to the Reddog page for resources to help you. There you will find a list of other rescue resources.
  • If you are not near British Columbia, and need help with your border collie, please try a rescue closest to you first.
  • If you are looking to adopt a border collie but you are outside of B.C., please try a rescue near you first. TDBCR DOES NOT SHIP DOGS TO ADOPTERS SIGHT UNSEEN.
  • TDBCR does not have a shelter facility. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes, which means you cannot come view the dogs until you have gone through our screening process. Our available dogs are listed here; please view them and contact us for more information on how you can meet an available dog.
  • TDBCR does not maintain waitlists. Because of the volume of inquiries we get on a regular basis, we do not have the resources to maintain a list of people looking for a specific kind of dog. Please revisit our website periodically and when you see a dog that appeals to you, then email us.
  • TDBCR does not list owner-adoption dogs. Any dog listed on our website is in foster care with TDBCR and has been evaluated by one of our foster homes before placement. If you need help placing your border collie and would like us to take the dog into foster care please email us. If you wish to place your dog yourself, please try listing your dog on a site like Petfinder as we will not list your dog on your behalf.
