And
they keep coming back for more ...
The DOUBLE
TROUBLE Tribute Page!
Someone
once said that border collies are like potato
chips ... you can't stop at just one! These folks who have
adopted not one but two dogs from TDBCR are proof positive that
if one rescue dog is great, two must
be fantastic! (and three must be super and FOUR must be out of
this world!!)
Congratulations
to the following TDBCR members who have two or more little bundles
of rescue joy warming their feet, keeping their yards squirrel-free
and making them laugh every day!
As of February
2007 , there are 64 dogs on this page, adopted by 29
wonderful families! Now THAT's "repeat business" from
satisfied "customers"!!
There are
FOUR members of the "Triple
Threat" club, folks who adopted an amazing three
dogs from TDBCR.
Melanie
is currently the only member of our "Quadruple
Bypass" Club, reserved for people who have adopted
an outstanding FOUR DOGS from TDBCR!!
|
|
| |
RITCHIE
First
he adopted Maleah and then he came back for more and adopted
Emerald. Two very lucky dogs indeed!
|
|
MALEAH
|
EMERALD
|
|
|
|
|
Maleah
is a purebred Australian Shepherd who was saved from euthanasia
at a Washington State kill shelter. Maleah is bilaterally
deaf, but that doesn't stop her from competing in agility
trials!
|
Emerald
used to be called Penny, and she was an unloved dog who was
allowed to roam the streets in rural Washington, where she
was hit with rocks and chased by children. Now she is Maleah's
best friend!

RUEDI
AND NOBU WIN THE TRIPLE THREAT AWARD!
THEY HAVE ADOPTED NOT ONE, NOT TWO, BUT THREE
TDBCR DOGS! HOW DO WE CLONE THESE PEOPLE??
Ruedi
and Nobu first adopted Seamus from us, and liked what they got
so much that they came back for more and adopted Maggie May! They
both compete in Agility, and they are great pals!
|
|
SEAMUS
|
MAGGIE
MAY
|
|
|
|
| Seamus
was found wandering the street of Langley as a young pup, and no one
ever came to find him. Happily, Ruedi and he found one another and
it was a match made in heaven! |
Maggie
May was turned into the SPCA for being "aggressive."
One look at this sweetheart told us something different. Before long,
Ruedi had turned Maggie into Miss Social, and he knew he couldn't
part with her! |
|
|
Scot
is a CBCA registered border collie puppy that fell into TDBCR
hands when his owner could not keep him. Ruedi and Nobu fell in
love and added themselves a very talented and well bred stock
dog to their family. Watch for Scot in herding trials in years
to come!
|
BETTI
WELCOME
TO THE
TRIPLE THREAT CLUB BETTI!!
Betti
and family were looking for a good natured, sweetheart of a border
collie and adopted Sully from TDBCR. They started fostering soon
afterward, and then failed Fostering 101 when they adopted their
foster puppy Jinx!
|
|
SULLY
|
JINX
|
|
|
|
| Sully's
only crime was being "too big" for his first family's trailer
home. Luckily he found a home that had plenty of "room"
in their house and hearts for this sweet boy. Now Sully is an agility
dog! |
Jinx
and her siblings were left in a cardboard box on the doorstep of a
closed shelter in Washington State. They made their way to Betti's
house at TDBCR and Jinx never left! |
|
|
Senior
mixed breed Roxy was surrendered to us by a vet clinic who
claimed she was a border collie. She was not, but we could not leave
this senior diabetic dog to die in a clinic where she had been dumped
by her owners. After spending over a year in foster care, it became
apparent that Roxy was going blind, a complication from her illness.
Betti felt that Roxy needed a permanent home more than ever now,
and so she added her to her pack. What a generous soul!!
|
CHARLOTTE
AND MIKE
Lighthouse
keepers on a remote Island, Charlotte and Mike helicoptered into
Vancouver to adopt their first TDBCR puppy. Then they did it again
when they came back to adopt their second! Now that's dedication!
|
|
BILLY
|
HOPE
|
|
|
|
|
Billy
and his siblings were pulled from a kill shelter in Washington literally
minutes before death. Now Billy is the King of the Island, and an
adored companion of his keepers. What a lucky dog!
|
Hope
and her whole family were turned into a shelter when Hope was
just 3 days old. Lucky for them, we gave them a place to stay
until they could go to their forever homes. Hope is Billy's Queen
of the Island!
|
DAN AND
PATTIE
When
Dan and Pattie drove up all the way from Washington to meet what
they hoped would be their new best friend, they ended up with
not one pal but two! Both Polar and Kila stole their hears, and
the brother/sister combo are living in the lap of luxury with
their mum and dad. What a family!
|
|
KILA
|
POLAR
|
|
|
|
|
Kila
and her whole family were left in a kill shelter when they were
just 2 weeks old. We gave them a safe foster home until they were
old enough to go to their own homes! Lucky Kila even got to take
her brother with her!
|
Polar
couldn't believe his luck - first he was saved from a kill shelter,
then he found a fantastic home, and he didn't even have to leave
his sister Kila behind! What a lucky fellow he is!
|
EADIE AND
GEORGE
Long
time border collie owners Eadie and George adopted Daisy as a
companion to their senior dog Hoot. But while Hoot likes Daisy,
he says he's too old for the hustle and bustle of a puppy and
darn it all, would she leave him alone. When Eadie and George
fostered Shep, a handsome boy, Daisy was so overjoyed with him
that they couldn't part with him. So Shep got to join the family
permanently!
|
DAISY
|
SHEP
|
|
|
|
|
Daisy,
a littermate of Kila and Polar above, was darned lucky to
get out of the shelter and into a great foster home, and
then a great forever home too! She is such a friendly pup
that her parents decided she needed a playmate ...
|
So
when Shep was left at a vet clinic by his former
owners, who could no longer care for him, Daisy got herself
a new "foster" brother ... but the fostering didn't
last long. In no time the handsome Shep captured everyone's
hearts and found his forever home!
|
JOHN AND
SYLVIA
John
and Sylvia, who have always had rescued dogs, fell in love with
Denver when they saw his smiling face on our website. In short
order, Denver made himself at home with them and went from being
afraid to being social and happy. But soon after Denver joined
the family, their elderly dog passed away and John and Sylvia
decided that Denver needed a new friend. So they came to meet
sweet Bessy and fell in love all over again! Lucky dogs!
|
DENVER
|
BESSY
|
|
|
|
|
Handsome
mini Aussie Denver was rescued in a puppy mill raid
in Washington and came to Canada with three other minis.
He learned about the comforts of home and how to be a dog
while in foster care and then was adopted into a wonderful
home.
|
Bessy
was an owner surrender, victim of a family too busy to give
her what she needed. She came off her chain and into foster
care and was such a joy to have around! When John and Sylvia
met her, they new she was the one!
|
VAL AND
STEVE
Val
and Steve have been involved in in flyball since the dawn of time,
it seems! Old pros at the sport, they are wonderful owners who
know it's Dog First, Sport Second. Their dogs have acres of land
to roam on, lots of sheep and goats to herd around and oodles
of flyball to play! Every dog should be so lucky to fall into
their hands!
|
ECHO
|
GAIA
|
|
|
|
|
In
2002, Val met Echo (fomerly Brite) at a flyball tournament
and fell in love with this feisty pup, rescued minutes before
euthanasia at a kill shelter. She knew that this little
dog has the get up and go to be a great flyball dog, and
more importantly a lovely companion!
|
Fast
forward to 2005 and Val's husband Steve couldn't stand not
having a dog of his very own, so they came and met Gaia
and it was a match made in heaven! Gaia and Echo and their
other canine siblings are running free and happy, bothering
the goasts and feeling like VERY lucky dogs!
|
VALERIE
>>>AS OF AUGUST 2006 VALERIE HAS
EARNED THE NEW TITLE OF A "TRIPLE THREAT" ADOPTER WHEN
SHE MADE HER FOSTER DOG BELLA A PERMANENT MEMBER OF THE HOUSEHOLD
When
Valerie, who has always had rescued border collies, read about
Belle and Isaac on our website she knew she could offer them exactly
the kind of home they needed. We couldn't be happier when we learned
that these brother-sister duo, who had been deeply traumatized
at losing their lifelong owner, had settled into Val's farm and
become happy, confident dogs!
|
|
BELLA
When
Bella's owner Joan passed away, Val kindly offered to foster
the troubled and traumatized Bella who was lost without
her mum. Now she has a new mum and is a secure, happy dog.
A truly wonderful happy begining for a dog who needed one
in the worst way!
|
|
BELLE
|
ISAAC
|
|
|
|
| Belle
and Isaac were orphaned when their lifelong owner died after
an illness in hospital, and they spent 6 long months in his
backyard being fed by neighbors before they finally came into
rescue. You can read their Special Rescue story here! |
MARIA
AND MIKE
Maria
and Mike are active people with a strong comittment to dogs, and
when they adopted their first border collie mix from TDBCR, they
also developed a strong comittment to border collies as wel! So
they came back and adopted a second dog because they enjoyed their
first so much!
|
SUMMIT
|
TANGO
|
|
|
|
| Summit,
formerly known as Tye, his mum and his 6 brothers and sisters
were all dumped in an Alberta shelter when the pups were just
a few days old. We rescued the lot and brought them out to
Vancouver to be placed in Spring 2004. Summit proved to be
so wonderful that Maria and Mike came back adopted ... |
Tango
a border collie X Australian Shepherd who, along with
his brother and two sisters, came to us from another rescue
who felt we could place them in great homes in 2005. Tango
is fitting in well with his new brother Summit and is learning
the ropes of how to be a Great Dog, just like his pal Summit! |
MICHAEL
Michael
is like Senior Border Collie Saviour all by himself. A wonderful
guy with a real soft spot for aged or injured border collies,
Mike first rescued a completely blind dog named Flipp. He thought
Flipp needed company so he adopted Berkley from us. After a couple
of years, he thought it was time for a third friend and he welcome
12 year old Sian into his home!
In
January of 2007, Michael joined the "triple threat"
club when he adopted Hope, a three legged gal whose life was spared
thanks to a quick thinking veterinary hospital. Welcome to the
club, Michael!
|
BERKLEY
|
SIAN
- RIP
|
|
|
|
| Berkley
is
an older border collie X cattle dog who went unwanted by his
former owners. He found his way to TDBCR (lucky boy) and then
went to live with Michael (luckier still!). A companion to
Michael's blind dog Flipp, Berkley fit right in but Michael
and his partner decided they needed a woman in the house so
they then adopted ... |
Sian!
Twelve years old when she was surrendered, Sian was a victim
of a divorce and was left alone in a yard on a chain. Neighbors
convinced the owner to surrender her to rescue. She spent
5 months in foster care because she has a heart murmur and
everyone was afraid to adopt her lest she pass on quickly.
But not Michael! He saved Sian and welcomed her home! |
|
|
After
Sian passed away, and Mike's blind border collie Flipp did
too, Mike very kindly offered to foster Hope through
her ampuation surgery that she had been waiting for. He
fell for Hope and her sunny, happy personality and made
this three legged cutie a permanent member of the family.
She was welcomed to the best home you could have "Hoped"
for!
|
JANICE
Janice
likes to surround herself with border collies so she keeps a bunch
of them, and they are all active in flyball. A few years ago Janice
adopted a wonderful red merle from TDBCR, who came all the way
from Idaho right before his PTS date. Then, not too long ago,
Janice saw Shelby on our website and fell in love all over again.
Now she has two TDBCR dogs in her pack and she couldn't be happier!
|
SEDAR
|
SHELBY
|
|
|
|
| We
found Sedar
at
the Idaho Humane Society and got him rescued the day before
he was to be PTS. We transported him all the way to BC only
to have him go live in Alberta with Janice, who met him at
a flyball tournament and fell in love! But Janice doesn's
stop at just one; a few years later, she looked at our website
and fell head over heels in love with ... |
Shelby
who was purchased at a pet store as a gift for a family who
loved her, but found her overwhelming. Shelby has lots to
say and wants lots to do, so what better home for her than
one who will put her to work in the fun sport of flyball!
Shelby is off to make her mum Janice proud. Congratulations
to both red dogs! |
BARBARA
Barbara
and her flocks of birds and her bunnies on Saltspring Island needed
a dog or two to keep the wild animals away. Her faithful companion
of many years passed away and it was time to introduce a new canine
to the work. Luna and her daughter Zowie fit the bill perfectly
and are wonderfully content in their new roles as flock guardians!
|
LUNA
AND ZOWIE
|
|
|
|
| Luna
a
stately older lady and her daughter Zowie needed a
new home when they were evicted from theirs. Zowie suffers
from epilepsy and is very attached to her mum, so it was too
difficult to seperate them. Luckily Barbara came along and
offered them a dream home and they couldn't be happier. Neither
could we! |
MELANIE
IS
THE FIRST MEMBER OF THE QUADRUPLE BYPASS
CLUB! SHE HAS ADOPTED NOT ONE, NOT TWO, NOT THREE BUT FOUR
TDBCR DOGS! WOW!! YOU'RE IN A CLASS OF YOUR OWN MELANIE!!
TDBCR
foster home to the North and dog handler extraordinaire, Melanie
is great with dogs. She has several and adopted first beautiful
Maya ... and then came back for seconds and took home Cody too!
What lucky dogs!
|
MAYA
|
CODY
|
|
|
|
| Maya
a
real go-getter, was passed through a couple of homes who loved
her but couldn't keep up with her energy! As soon as Melanie
saw her, she know she could do her justice. And she has! But
it wasn't long before she got the itch to add another border
collie and she came home with ... |
Cody!
Gorgeous
Cody was too much dog for a family with small children, but
for Melanie he was just right! She has put his energies to
good use and this boy and his sister Maya are a matched set
of enthusiasm! These two border collies are about to take
over the world, so look out! |
|
EMMY
|
COOPER
|
|
|
|
| When
one of our good TDBCR friends had to give up his dog for personal
reasons, we knew we wanted Emmy to stay in the TDBCR family.
And Melanie knew she wanted a sweet little girl to add to
her pack. So she came and retrieved Emmy from foster
care, as it was love at first site. Congrats to Melanie and
Emmy too! What a lucky dog! |
After
giving a new life to so many dogs, Melanie decided she wanted
the challenge of raising a puppy and when "Snow White
and the 7 Dwarves" came into rescue, Melanie chose Dopey,
now Cooper, to be her first rescue puppy. Congrats
to Melanie and family on their new and adorable addition! |
MARISSA
Marissa
gave a home to one of the Pasco 9, a litter of BC mixes rescued
from a kill shelter. They went on to foster for TDBCR and soon
realized that two dogs was better than one. And they welcomed
Sammy into their hearts and home
|
TOBA
|
SAMMY
|
|
|
|
| Toba
the puppy formerly known as Teddy, was the floofiest, most
laid back pup in the batch. She was the perfect pup to pave
Marissa's way into the world of BCs! But it didn't take long
for her to realize that Toba needed a Buddy and along came
... |
Sammy
the
little man with the overbite, is a ball of fun and energy.
The perfect compliment to laid back Toba, these two are the
best of pals and are both so lucky to have a great home! |
JARRED
Jarred
likes his dogs high energy and smart - so when he found TDBCR
border collie rescue, he knew this was the breed for him. In no
time he had "tamed the wild beast" that was Hayden.
And not too long after that, he took another challenging dog:
Jack. He's turned both of them into flyball maniacs, herding machines
and well behaved friends. What a guy!
|
HAYDEN
|
JACK
|
|
|
|
| Handsome
Hayden was a wild child, a high energy dog with lots of
pent up drive needing an outlet. Jarred brought him home and
ran the pants off him! He introduced him to sheep and to the
sport of flyball and Hayden is now a happy dog eager to do
whatever is asked of him. Once Hayden was settled in, Jarred
took on the challenge of ... |
Jack!
Jack came into rescue with no manners and some social issues
from living a life with little guidance. He was a dog for
a confident owner who knew he could turn him around, and that's
exactly what Jarred did. Today Jack is a brand new dog, obedient,
happy and living a structured life with his two new pals!
The perfect home for this hard headed dog! |
SHEENA
TDBCR
founder Sheena failed fostering 101 when she adopted the wee evil
Piper. She managed to hold out for over three years before she
fell for Mr. Woo, the BC X Papillion who took over her bed, sofa
and lap
|
PIPER
|
MR.
WOO
|
|
|
|
| The
perfect placeholder for the website, Piper's adorable mug
is plastered all over the site! Agility, flyball and herding,
Piper does it all - an excellent mutli tasker and all around
card. |
Mr.
Woo, formerly known as Ricky, holds down the sofa and the
bed to make sure they don't float away. But he is also a keen,
enthusiastic and athletic little guy who keeps us all on our
toes! |
CAROL AND
JOHN
Carol
drove a very long way to adopt her first dog from TDBCR a very
special little border collie named Shane who came all the way
from Wyoming! She knew the second she saw him on the internet
that he was destined to be hers. A few years later, it happened
again when they saw sad senior Lady on our site and this time
it was John who made the journey to retrieve her. Two very lucky
dogs in one very wonderful home!
|
SHANE
|
LADY
|
|
|
|
| Shaney
was dumped at a high kill Animal Control when he was
9 weeks old. But he was so wonderful, the staff let him live
until he was 8 MONTHS old and we took him in. Shane is a marvellous
dog and Carol recognised this as soon as she saw him. He left
with her and never looked back - the perfect family for Shaney!
Several years later, Carol felt the same feeling when she
saw ... |
Lady
on our website, a much loved senior whose owner was too
aged to care for her (or himself). Her husband John drove
for many hours to come to Vancouver and bring Lady home. These
two dogs are the luckiest dogs we know, in one of the most
wonderful homes we know! Thank you Carol and John, for taking
on two of our most special dogs! |
TIA
Tia
adopted the very energetic Bree a few years ago, and when TDBCR
adopters Joan passed away, Tia reclaimed Finn the very talented
herding dog puppy that she originally fostered before he was adopted.
Dedicated to ensuring his herding talents don't go to waste, Finn
has enrolled in "sheep school" and may be a force to
be reckoned with on the trial circuit!
|
BREE
|
FINN
|
|
|
|
| Formerly
known as "Oreo" this BC X Cattle Dog renamed Bree
needed a home that could give her guidance, exercise and still
more exercise! Tia offered her a place in her rowdy pack and
Bree is happy as can be! |
When
Joan passed away, there was no doubt that Finn would
go back to his original foster home. A young but talented
sheep dog, Finn is hands who will endeavor to offer him what
he needs to be happy. Two lucky dogs indeed!! |
AMBER AND
VINCE
These
folks know a good thing when they see it, and have an eye for
the finer things in life - including really cool dogs! That's
how they ended up with two athletic, funny, beautiful specimens
in Alfie and Divot, the bookends you see below. What lucky dogs!
|
ALFIE
|
DIVOT
|
|
|
| Alfie,
a handsome registered border collie, somehow ended up
in a vet clinic for rehoming, where he was slowly going mad.
Once out of the clinic he proved himself to be a bright, active,
trainable guy - exactly what Amber and Vince were looking
for! They fell head over heels with Alfie and head over heels
for border collies, because only a couple of months later
they adopted ... |
Divot!
Adopted and returned from a shelter because of her habit of
biting feet, Divot is a dog full of personality. She's active
and a little crazy, but Amber and Vince like her that way!
She now has a brother of her own to chase instead of feet.
These two dogs could not be happier and they could not be
luckier! Now we are off to try and clone Amber and Vince! |
SHELLEY
Shelley
and her husband are devopted volunteers of TDBCR since adopting
their dog Razz from us. And they were so excited when they sold
their home and bought a bigger place where they could foster!
But as often happen, they fell head over heels for their very
first foster puppy Max and have completed their family in a big
way!
|
RAZZ
|
MAX
|
|
|
|
| A pretty
smooth coat BC who came from a rescue in Northern BC, Razz
was left behind when her owners moved. This fun loving, good
natured all around nice dog loves to play with with other
canines, so she was ecstatic when Shelley fell in love with
... |
Max!
A 6 month old puppy purchased with good intentions but underused
in his existing home, Max was Shelley's first foster attempt
and she "failed" - very happily! Now baby brother
to Miss Razz, these two dogs have found an excellent home! |
SHELLY
(ANOTHER ONE!)
Shelly
and her family were so enamoured with their first border collie
that they wanted to give back to the breed by volunteering with
TDBCR. As happens with many of our foster homes, they fell in
love with their very first foster dog Nick. They managed not to
adopt their next foster, but couldn't part with their third foster
Chevy!
|
NICK
|
CHEVY
|
|
|
|
| Pretty
boy Nick came from a home that could not handle his
exhuberance and outgoing personality. Fortunately, this the
is the kind of personality that Shelly and her family appreciate
and Nick could not be more well loved. And Nick himself could
not be happier about the latest addition .... |
Chevy!
Chevy is an ABCA registered dog who was brought to Canada
for goose control work, but didn't want to work birds. She
was then given to a family where she had her first seizure.
The new family did not want an epileptic dog and so Chevy
ended up with TDBCR and with her family! |
KEVIN
When
Kevin adopted his first border collie from TDBCR, he was hooked
on the red dogs! Handsome JJ brought him so much joy that it wasn't
long before he began searching for a second. When Stitch came
up from Oregon, we knew he was the dog for Kevin, and it was true!
|
JJ
|
STITCH
|
|
|
|
| Gorgeous
JJ is still a ball maniac in his middle age and is a wonderful,
fun loving companion. His sunny personality and keen nature
draw people to him, and that's why Kevin fell in love. But
once you go red dog, you never go back! And Kevin was soon
ready to welcome |
Stitch!
In a depressing and sad shelter with a low adoption rate,
Stitch's flight to Vancouver was donated by an Idaho rescue
group who knew he deserved better. Stitch charmed everyone
he met and that included Kevin and JJ! |
KATHRYN
The
Lesters adopted a cutiepie of a border collie pup named Jylli
from us in 2004 and now that Jylli is all grown up they came back
for seconds and adopted "Sleepy" one of the Snow White
and 7 Dwarves pups surrendered to our rescue.
|
JYLLI
|
SLEEPY
|
|
|
|
| Sweet
pup Jylli was another victim of oh-so-cute but oh-so-much
dog for her original family, who surrendered her to TDBCR.
She didn't last long, with that adorable mug, and was soon
welcomed into the Lester's home. |
Sleepy
and his siblings were part of an entire litter surrendered
to rescue when they were 6 weeks old. They soon grew fat and
happy and more than adorable and Sleepy was perfect for the
Lesters and the perfect little brother for Jylli! |
SUSAN AND
CHICO
Batting
2 for 2, this foster home can't stop keeping their "temporary"
charges. First they offered their hearts and home to Jazz after
her mum, TDBCR adopter Joan, passed away suddenly. And when 8
year old Jack (along with his 14 year old mother Brass) were turned
over to TDBCR by a shelter, they kept Handsome Jack as well!
|
JACK
|
JAZZ
|
|
|
| Seized
by the SPCA in a cruelty case, Jack was a stranger
to the comforts of a real home, but under Susan and Chico's
loving guidance he acclimated in no time! Now a happy, comfy
house dog, Jack thinks he's gone to heaven! |
When
her owner Joan passed away, Jazz was the only one of
Joan's three dogs not adopted from TDBCR, but we absorbed
her back into our 'family' with the same care we did for Finn
and Bella-Luna. A retired flyball champ, Jazz is happy as
can be as sister to Jack and loving companion to Susan and
Chico. |
THE FOX
FAMILY
In
2005 the Foxes fell for a big ole mixed breed puppy that showed
up in rescue via the caring actions of a kind individual. Unmindful
that the big bruiser was not all BC, they came back a year later
to get Ripper a companion in another bruiser of a puppy, mixed
breed Solo!
|
RIPPER
|
SOLO
|
|
|
|
| Ripper
is a reported BC X Malamute or other Northern type breed,
a big friendly pup saved from an Indian Reserve and passed
on to Malamute rescue, who then turned him over to TDBCR.
He found a great home woth the Foxes, who enjoyed him so much
they soon adopted ... |
Solo!
A BC X Lab, possibly, whose fate was to be pit bull bait,
Solo was saved by a kind neighbor who passed him on to us.
A big floppy puppy with a great personality, Solo is "solo"
no more as he has a best friend with Ripper! |
SUE AND
CAROLYN
We
can't believe we forgot to list this Super Double Trouble! These
wonderful women gave a home to one of the sweetest, saddest dogs
we have had in rescue, shy and terrified one-eyed Glynn, and turned
him into a happy young man! Years later, when they lost their
old man Robb, they made a large donation to TDBCR in his memory,
but even better they gave a home to Georgia native Bowie, now
Bruce!
|
GLYNN
|
BRUCE
|
|
|
|
| This
sad face broke our hearts. Found a a stray roaming Abbotsford,
Glynn has a fresh injury that had cost him to lose
an eye. This shy boy was terrified of everyone and was a wonderful,
sweet dog whose missing eye made him even shyer. But Sue and
Carolyn saw past this to his lovely personality and along
with their old BC Robb, they gave Glynn a new "outlook"
on life! Glynn gained confidence and became a brand new dog
under their loving care. He should not have been happier. |
But
shortly after recovering from a mystery illness, Glynn's world
came crashing down when his brother Rob passed away on his
15th birthday. Recognizing that Glynn was depressed, Sue and
Carolyn came back to TDBCR. And we knew they were perfect
for shy Bowie, now Bruce, whom we saved from a kill
shelter in Atlanta Georgia. Two of our favourite dogs with
two of our favourite people. Yay! Thanks ladies! |
CLAUDINE
AND CRAIG
How
could we forget this Double Trouble? Must be old age creeping
in! We like to keep our DTs 'in the family" so when Jack
found his Double Trouble placement, Claudine and Craig wants his
mother Brass to have one too - better yet, they already have a
TDBCR dog named Jak, so Brassy would feel right at home!
|
JAK
|
BRASS
|
|
|
|
| Wee
Jak, once called Frankie, was an unclaimed stray in
a WA shelter. Someone around there is producing small, fast,
