Recently, in an absolute coincidence, we got this update from a friend of Tug's family:

I think the dog you are talking about (the one that went to Alberta) would be Sedar a.k.a. Tug . If that is him I just thought I’d let you know he is doing great in his new home. He has starting to lose some of his many extra pounds. Also he’s coming along good with flyball & is going with me this weekend to see sheep for the first time since he moved to Alberta. I’m not the one who has him but a close friend. I get to do the fun stuff with him herding.
