Lucky Dax has moved to Bowen Island where his new owners say he is "the Dog of The Year" competition or no competition. Lucky Dax!

Just wanted to let you know that Dax is already the 'Dog of the Year' onBowen. Loves the ocean. He met four new friends yesterday and his newbrother, our cat....!He fit in well with all of them and has had a greattime running around playing with all of them.Had a good night - is eating well ....and seems to be very happy and calm.I took the day off today so we are off now to hike around the trails...great exercise for us too.

Again thank you....Dax is a wonderful addition to our home and family.We'll keep you updated on his progress. By the way, made many new friends last night at the marina pub when we took him down after dinner ...lay at our feet and was consistently well mannered, even though everyone who came in made a big fuss over him !

As you can see he really has already become the 'dog of the year' for us.

Dax is GREAT! ..actually just went to the vet today for his check up - he is 62 lbs and very healthy....his coat is beautiful and he is getting sleek!....Chuck now wishes he could lose as much weight as Dax has - every morning he runs him for an hour at least.

I've attached a couple of photos for you = you can see how good he is looking. We can't believe he has only been ours for three months - seems like forever as he truly is so much a part of our family (as you will see in the pictures he and our cat, Sinbad, have become very good friends! A

Hope to see you over here soon so Dax can have his 'city friends' go for a run with him. Dax has made many friends (dogs and people) all over the island...he is truly an 'island' dog now and everyone seems to know him. Chuck works with him every day, and Dax now heels without a word...when Chuck stops, Dax sits down....even I am amazed.

Anyway, hope to see you soon over here...and again thanks for giving us Dax!!.
