Switch
is the first of four puppies transferred from Idaho to go to her
new home! Sounds like the transition went swimmingly to us!
Switch
is just fantastic. We took her shopping at petcetera and got the
essentials (food, crate, collar, leash, dishes, treats, and a chew
toy). She explored our place last night and was very curious about
everything. Last night was a little rough - lots of whimpering at
first but she calmed down after a bit and went to sleep. At midnight
she was up again and whining so I tried taking her outside for a
pee. Didn't expect she would but she did! After a bit of congratulating
I put her back in the crate where she stayed until 5:30 with no
accidents! Martin took her outside and she did her thing and they
went for a little walk. We are so impressed. She's obviously a smart
girl. She sits beautifully and already seems to understand that
she's not supposed to bite. She gets better each time she does something.
The first time on the leash she bit at it and didn't like it. The
second time she chewed a little but then dropped it. The third time
she seemed totally comfortable. Same with the crate.
Just walked Martin down to the bus stop and played a little bit
on a grassy area. She's now tired out and sleeping in my lap.
We're just thrilled and think she's the best dog ever!!!
