Although Sam had several health issues and required health care his whole life, he was a happy and content doggie.
I lost a treasured friend today
The little dog who used to lay
Her gentle head upon my knee
And share her silent thoughts with me...
She'll come no longer to my call
Retrieve no more her favorite ball
A voice far greater than my own
Has called her to His golden throne.
Although my eyes are filled with tears,
I thank Him for the happy years
He let her spend down here with me
And for her love and loyalty.
When it is time for me to go
And join her there, this much I know...
I shall not fear the transient dark
For she will greet me with her bark.

"A bright light has gone from our universe –“ ζωή,” (Zoe) is Greek for the meaning of life and to us it was a statement of her character and who she was to us. She was 15 years old but kickin'! Zoe- Zo -Zo, has left a huge hole in our hearts. "

Missy said good bye after a battle with hemangiosarcoma. "It would be hard to overestimate the amount of joy this sweet dog brought to our lives, and we will miss her terribly. She made our lives, and Skipper's (for the last year he lived) so much richer, and we thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts, for rescuing this beautiful soul so that she could be with us for a short while, and leave this world surrounded by love. She is unforgettable, and will ever remain our Little Red."
